Will your Posi-close wheels fit on my planter?
Yes. We have a variety of options that adapt to all row crop planters.
How many acres can I expect to get out of a set of Posi-close wheels?
It depends on soil conditions but we have seen up to 25,000 acres before replacement.
Gopher Eliminator
How much bait will the hopper hold?
The hopper will hold a 50 pound bag of the bait of your choice.
What is the bait application rate per acre?
The gopher eliminator has two settings for the bait shaft. This information can be found in the Documents and Resources page.
What category hitch does the Gopher Eliminator come with?
Category 3 and 4.
What size bar will the GE-2100 fit on?
Any 5"x7" or 7"x7" toolbar.
How many lbs. per acre is the Gopher Eliminator set for from the factory?
6-8lbs per acre.
How many feet per pass should bail be applied?
20'-30' per pass is recommend by most bait manufactures.
Best time to use the Gopher Eliminator?
Late Fall or Early Spring.
Why does the burrow former plug?
Gopher machine not tipped forward enough or soil to wet.
How deep does the Gopher Eliminator need to be ran?
This typically varies per condition. Probing existing gopher holes to measure depth is recommended and then setting machine to that measured depth.
Rapid Till
Do you offer a coulter version instead of the knife?
No. The design of the Rapid Till unit relies on the point load of the knife to pull it into the ground.
Do you offer a depth band for the front coulter?
No. Unlike other strip till implements, the Rapid Till utilizes the rear packing wheels for depth control.
How deep can you run the Rapid Till?
Max depth of 10" but 6"-8" is ideal.
How fast can you pull the Rapid Till?
Up to 10mph but 8mph has been a very typical speed.
How many different bearings are on a Rapid Till?
We use only 2 different bearings. These are very common bearings that can be cross referenced with many other brands of bearings.
How many grease zerks are there on each Rapid Till row unit?
4 per row unit.
Are dust caps recommended?
No, All bearings are sealed with triple lip seals.
What size of tool bar is the Rapid Till on?
7"x7" Double bar.
